~ To the Palace of Beautiful Hairless Guinea Pigs ~
Hairless Hilltop Hunks is located an hour from the St. Louis area. I am a breeder of two very rare types of Hairless Guinea Pigs. One known as a Skinny Pig and the other known as the Baldwin Guinea Pig. Skinny pigs still have a little bit of fuzz on their noses and feet while Baldwins are completely hairless and the rarest of all Guinea Pigs. I concentrate on improving both breeds by breeding back to pure bred, pedigreed, American Guinea Pigs. It improves their immune systems while creating a large breed of hairless Guinea Pigs. I breed for hardiness, hefty bodies, great temperament, limited fuzz, cute short noses, and beautiful color.
I believe in keeping the genetic line different which means I have purchased my line of Hairless Guinea Pigs from 8 different states. I never keep several babies from one litter so that my genetic line is always different and I only keep the best of the best. I have sold babies all over the United States and even in Canada. Whether you want a hairless guinea pig for breeding or a pet, my line will not let you down.
I have been breeding and raising cavies for 15 years. I would of never thought that I would of had so many Guinea Pigs when I was so young. My mother is one of those types who believes in doing what you love and that is exactly what I did. I was only in grade school when I began reading several books and browsing several internet sites to learn everything I could about breeding and caring for Guinea Pigs. I raised beautiful, healthy, and big American Guinea Pigs who were all sweet, cuddly pets.
One day while browsing the internet I came across two unique breeds. One called Skinny Pigs and the other called Baldwins. In the beginning I thought Baldwins were amazing but I ended up falling in love with the Skinny Pigs cute fuzz. At this time I still had several American Guinea Pigs and knew it would be a while before I purchased any of my own.
Eventually in March 2009, I created Natalie's Skinny Pigs which has now changed to Hairless Hilltop Hunks, in hope of producing big, beautiful, cute and cuddly hairless Guinea Pigs for many years. I sell to several people with allergies to pets and alot of homes that are addicted to hairless animals. I bought only a few to start out with and of course the addiction grew and I purchased more and more until I didn't have any cage space left. Now I have 12 cages that are 5 x 2 feet and more are always in the making.
I can't put in plain words what its like to own a Hairless Guinea Pig but I can tell you that its an addiction and you can't help but fall in love with these hairless pets. Its hard to find breeders of any breed who actually care about the health and well being of the animals they are breeding. I can tell you that in many ways my cavies are cared for exceptionally well and all get extra special care who are loved equally in my home.
With my Sincerest and Honest Truth
